Carrie Marie Underwood, Boston (DbTechNo) - It is being reported that country singer Carrie Underwood has just gotten engaged to Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher.

Fisher confirmed the news yesterday at a press conference, telling the media that he proposed to Carrie on Sunday.

The pair just started dating last year, and up until now have been living in their own houses despite rumors that they were shacking up together.

Speaking with Fox News, a representative for the country star said: “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time.”

No wedding date has been announced as of yet.
